Concord Pet Grooming & School in Knoxville, Tennessee has been grooming and training groomers since 1967. We groom dogs and cats, teach professional grooming, sell specialty products, shampoo, and collars, we brush teeth, furminate, provide spa treatments and blueberry facial treatment for pets.The list of services that we provide and teach is innovative and widely varied. We provide a special treatment for pads called paw fizz treatment, which deep cleans and softens the pad and gets rid of fungus and bacteria that may have collected outside. Our special shampoos meet different needs, like oatmeal shampoos for animals with itchy skin. We have Soft Paws that are like socks to cover the pet’s nails and prevent scratching. We also provide nail polish for pets as well as standard and customized cuts.
Our grooming school is an intense 12 week process that will teach you the ins and outs of grooming all breeds of cats and dogs. Special emphasis is placed on hand scissoring, business practices and procedures, and customer/client relationships. Your training will begin the moment you walk in the door. Tuition fees may be broken up and paid in installments, and financial aid is available for those who qualify.
